N2K Duo

Juilliard alumni, enriching communities, touching lives... healing, building, sharing, awakening, we offer you World Class Performances

Bringing a unique and revolutionary musical approach to the chamber music genre, Norm Freeman and Katherine Cash are duo partners in N2K Duo.   Individually, these Juilliard-trained artists have pedigrees which include Grammy, Tony and Emmy award winning recordings, Broadway orchestra arrangement and performing, touring and session work with multi-platinum artists from Pavarotti to Metallica to Streisand, as well as production credits for world music artists in Asia.

Now, with their N2K Duo collaboration, Norm and Katherine are reimagining the musical interplay of percussion and strings, weaving together vibraphone, malletKAT, and violin to bring classical, jazz and pop works alive on stage in ways never before heard. N2K Duo represents a bold and exciting departure from standard musical genres, redefining chamber music for the new millennium with rich, evocative soundscapes of melody and color. N2K Duo may in fact be creating a new genre of music encompassing the precision of classical, the daring improvisation of jazz, and the fun and thrill of great pop music. What further differentiates the art of N2K Duo is the spiritual reach of this music, which reflects the deeply held beliefs of Norm and Katherine that music must delight, challenge, and heal.
